Collagen Renewal 〰️
At Forma Health, we use the SkinPen — the first FDA-cleared microneedling device — to help Reno clients get smoother, firmer, more even-toned skin without downtime that keeps you off the map for weeks. Microneedling works by creating thousands of micro-channels in the skin, triggering your body's own collagen and elastin production. No lasers, no heat, no harsh chemicals — just your skin's natural repair process, accelerated.
What Microneedling Treats
Microneedling with SkinPen is one of the most versatile treatments we offer at our Reno med spa. Clients come to us for help with: Fine lines and early signs of aging Acne scarring and enlarged pores Uneven skin texture and tone Stretch marks Overall skin laxity and dullness Because it works with your skin rather than against it, results build gradually and look natural — no "done" look, just healthier-looking skin over time.
What to Expect
Your SkinPen treatment starts with a numbing period so the procedure stays comfortable, followed by 20–30 minutes of treatment across the target area. Most clients describe it as light pressure rather than pain. You'll leave with skin that looks similar to a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, and can typically return to normal activities the next day. Collagen production continues for weeks after each session, which is why we recommend a series of treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart for the best results — one session helps, but a series transforms. Pricing & Packages Microneedling (face): $400 Microneedling (face & neck): $450 3-Session Package (face & neck): $1,080 — our most popular option, and the best value if you're serious about long-term results We'll always tell you honestly whether a single session or a full package makes sense for your skin and your goals — no pressure, no upsell, just what actually gets you results.
FAQs
How many sessions will I need?
1
Most clients see meaningful improvement after 3 sessions, which is why we built our package around that number. Some concerns, like deeper acne scarring, may benefit from additional sessions. Because collagen naturally breaks down as we age, many clients also return for periodic maintenance sessions to keep results looking fresh over time.
Is microneedling safe for all skin tones?
2
Yes. Unlike some laser treatments, microneedling doesn't target pigment, making it a safe, effective option for all skin tones. In some cases, we may recommend pre-treatment first if there's concern for hyperpigmentation or active inflammation, just to make sure your skin is ready for the best possible results.
How is SkinPen different from other microneedling devices?
3
SkinPen is FDA-cleared and designed for consistent, controlled depth — meaning more predictable, safer results than many devices used at less regulated spas.
