Units, Units, Units — The Million Dollar Question

Dysort Medication vial

How many units will I need? This is referring to when receiving neuromodulator treatments (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, & Jeuveau)

Let's get down to it. Just as acetaminophen and Ibuprofen have specific dosing recommendations approved by the FDA, so do Botox and Dysport -- at the end of the day, they are medications.

Now that we have that out of the way, just as with any medication, ibuprofen 200 mg does nothing for me; however, give me 400 mg and up, and it’s magic, my headache is gone.

Finding your right dose can take a couple of times and may change every now and then, and as you get older. The dosing also depends on your skin quality, your goals, your lifestyle, and the longevity desired.

Hope this was helpful. If you have any questions or are ready to find your perfect dosing,  book through our online booking system.
